And on behalf of the Renovo Borough Council, I Thomas E. Tarantella, Jr., the humble Mayor of Renovo, welcome you to the 2021 Flaming Foliage Festival. Whether you live here, traveled a short distance, or traveled afar, Renovo opens it arms to you all and hopes that you enjoy the celebration of Renovo’s greatest time of year that it has to offer. Not only does this include the Festival but also the ever changing foliage that we are all about to witness. 

With the enduring events of the 2020 year season that I dare not mention, this year’s festivities are even longer awaited and will surely be without further ado, long overdue. I can’t say enough in gratitude to the Flaming Foliage Committee and Co-Chairs, Pattie Rauch and Dave Watt for their efforts and everyone’s efforts to whom are involved in making the festival what it is each and every year. 

Queens… Good luck and I hope you enjoy the parade and the many festivities you are to embark on. This one weekend a year in Fall, where the surrounding mountains have put a show of colors on that will take your breath away, remember that today I welcome you but know that Renovo will always welcome you. With the lasting impression that this weekend will have on you, I hope you return many subsequent years to come, bringing your friends and families to share in the experience you gained as a Queen in the PA Flaming Foliage Festival. 

I’ve learned over the years that once you’ve had the opportunity of attending a Flaming Foliage Festival, that you will long for it each and every year. I think the change in seasons has something to do with it, but I’ll leave that to the mountains that surround our small town to tells us when it’s time to get excited again… and again.
